In this 2021 oil painting, artist Tilghman Hemsley captures a vintage pickup truck in a shed at the railway where the Breezin’ Thru was built in 1949. The vessel, crafted by Rock Hall boatbuilder Andrew J. “Bubsy” Stevens, returns to the railway every year for service and maintenance. The original painting was a gift to the Leary family, owners of the Rock Hall Marine Railway.
